In this tutorial, you will see how to perform basic settings on the sunroof of a Volkswagen Sharan MK2 without using diagnostic tools. If you have any issues with the sunroof not closing properly or the comfort closure not working, simply press and hold the control knob located near the sunroof for about 20 seconds to relearn the final stop position of the sunroof window. Keep it pressed, and after 20 seconds, the basic settings procedure will begin, during which the sunroof will open, find its final position, and then close. At this point, you can release the control knob. You must do the same for the sunshade by pressing the close arrow button on the knob and waiting about 15 seconds for the basic settings procedure to start; the sunshade will move in one direction and then the other, after which you can release the arrow button.
