To replace the battery in a Volkswagen Tiguan, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay. You will find the battery located at the top right, just below the windscreen on the driver's side. Remove the battery from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the power cables.

Once the old battery is removed, insert the new one, ensuring it is secured and connected to the cables. Finally, close the bonnet and check that everything is functioning correctly.
