In this tutorial, see how to replace the battery in a Volkswagen Tiguan, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the key is not inserted, then open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover by unlocking the relevant clip.

Next, loosen the nuts on both terminals with a 10 mm spanner, disconnect them starting with the negative terminal, and using a long 14 mm socket, unscrew the bolt of the mounting bracket. At this point, simply remove the plastic protection, extract the battery, and follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement.
