How to Replace the Sliding Door Handle on a Volkswagen Transporter?

To replace the sliding door handle on a Volkswagen Transporter, open the door itself so that the inner protective panel can be removed: this must be detached from the door by loosening the screws that secure it to its housing. Beneath it, you will find the handle actuator, to which you need to disconnect the cable in order to remove the cylinder from the outer side of the door. Once the cylinder has been removed, you can also take out the handle itself, allowing you to fit the new one along with the corresponding cylinder.
