How to Replace the Fuel Tank on a Volkswagen Transporter

To replace the fuel tank on a Volkswagen Transporter, you need to unscrew the bolts securing it to its housing: the tank is located at the rear of the vehicle, near the back wheels. You can unscrew its fastening bolts and disconnect various pipes and connectors attached to it; additional screws will be accessible by opening the rear hatch and unscrewing those that can be reached by removing the panel at the base of the boot. Once the old tank has been removed, insert the new replacement part, securing and connecting it properly.
