Operation: How to replace the mirror glass of the Volkswagen Golf VII.

In this video, we see how to change the glass of the external rearview mirror of a Volkswagen Golf VII. First, we turn the glass completely towards the inner corner, creating enough space to insert a finger in the outer corner. Then, using this finger, we apply pressure from the inside to detach the glass from its internal support. Once the glass is removed from its base, we need to remove the two small electrical pins connected on the side and take out the entire glass. At this point, we can install the new mirror by reconnecting the two pins and fitting the glass back onto its support.
