How to replace the external mirror glass on a Golf 7? This operation is not too complex; let’s see how to detach the glass from the mirror. Pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass itself.

Pry until the glass detaches from the mirror (disconnect the power cable); this operation is very delicate as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Remove the mirror cover if you need to replace it or work inside it. Fit the new glass along with the electrical connector for the heating.
