Volkswagen Touareg - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Touareg 7L, MK 1 - Years 2002-2010
Part: Brake pads
Operation: Replacement brake pads and discs

The equipment for this job consists of a set of socket wrenches, a hammer, a screwdriver and a special tool. With this tool we are going to remove the plastic caps above the wheel bolts. Using a Torx wrench, unscrew the two screws holding the disc while holding it still. Unscrew the two bolts of the caliper and carefully disassemble the caliper and its support first, however, remove the retaining springs of the pads, which must be removed. Remove the disc and if the disc is blocked, use a rubber hammer and deal a few blows until it comes out completely from the pin. Fit the new disc, put the caliper support, the new pads back on and assemble everything.

How do I replace the Land Rover Evoque auxiliary battery?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. Once the screws that secure this panel have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components located in its rear part, including the auxiliary battery. The latter must be disconnected from its cables and the fixing screws must be loosened. The battery can then be replaced with a new one and the panel can be fixed again with its screws.
