How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009
Part: Service warning light

On the Volkswagen Polo, reset the Service light by pressing the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, just below the speedometer: keep it pressed while the ignition is off. At this point, insert the ignition key and turn it to power on the instrument cluster: once it is on, continue to hold the button for a few more seconds. You can then release the button, noting that the Service light has been completely reset.
