How to Diagnose a Problem with Climatronic

In this video, learn how to diagnose a problem with the Climatronic, the air conditioning system of Volkswagen: when you get in the car and start the vehicle, you will notice that if the Climatronic display flashes for about 15 seconds, it indicates that something is wrong. To diagnose the issue, press the recirculation button and the "econ" button simultaneously for about three seconds. This will take you into a submenu specifically for the Climatronic. Here, the code "00" will provide the error code. If there is only one code, it will show a "p" followed by three or four digits; if there are multiple codes, you can scroll down using the "+/-" buttons. Pressing the "econ" button, to find the codes, search online for "Climatronic codes for Golf IV".
