To reset the on-board computer on the Volkswagen Scirocco, turn on the instrument cluster by inserting the ignition key into the barrel. Once the cluster is powered on, navigate through the menu using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel.

Select "Factory Settings" by pressing the OK button; a confirmation message will appear asking if you really want to reset the light. By selecting "Yes" with the OK button, the reset of the operating system will be completed.
