How to reset the Service light in the Volkswagen Polo?

To reset the Service light in the Volkswagen Polo, hold down the button located at the bottom of the speedometer: while continuing to hold this button, insert the ignition key into the lock, turn it, and start the instrument panel. Once the panel is on, continue to hold the button until the "INSP" message disappears; when this disappears from the instrument panel, you can release the button, confirming that the Service light has been reset.
