How to Reset the Engine Light on the Volkswagen Transporter?

The engine light on the Volkswagen Transporter illuminates when there is a generic issue with the vehicle's injection system. If the glow plug light also flashes, it means the vehicle has entered limp mode to prevent further damage. To clear these lights, generally, it is sufficient to turn off and restart the engine. However, to prevent them from reappearing, you will need to perform a diagnosis using an OBD scanner to identify the source of the problem. The OBD port is located at the bottom left of the steering column.
