Replacing Bumper Bulb

Model: Volkswagen Jetta A4, MK 4 - Years 1998-2005

Many attempt to replace the bulb of the relevant light by inserting a screwdriver and trying to lever it out, but often this method damages either the bumper or the bulb cover itself. The operation is correctly performed by loosening the bolts that secure the bumper to the wing. Now you can reach behind the bumper and release the clip that holds the orange cover to extract it from the outer part of the bumper. Now you can remove the bulb holder, take out the old bulb, insert the new one, and reposition everything in place.
