Front Headlamp Bulb Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

The bulb replacement can be carried out without removing the headlamp as there is sufficient space to access the bulb holder. Once the front bonnet is opened, unclip the bulb holder cap by turning it anti-clockwise; then unclip the bulb holder (bayonet fitting), remove the old bulb and insert the new one, avoiding touching the glass with your fingers. Reposition the bulb holder with the new bulb in the headlamp's designated housing and apply the cap. If there is a noticeable difference in brightness between the new bulb and the corresponding one in the other headlamp, it is advisable to replace that one as well.
