Volkswagen Jetta - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010
Part: Headlight bulb
Operation: Headlight bulb replacement

For the replacement of the bulbs of the left front headlight (driver's side), there is not much room for maneuver since the engine air filter box is located behind the headlight, however you can proceed without removing anything; then unhook the plastic cap placed to protect the lamp holder by rotating it anti-clockwise and in the same way unhook the lamp holder from which to extract the old bulb to insert the new one; then hang up both the lamp holder and the relative cap; the other protection cap is instead a rubber cap and just pull it off to be able to remove it; the bulb fixing spring must then be released to extract it from its seat and be able to replace it.
