The following guide shows how to replace the MAF sensor. The acronym stands for: Mass Air Flow/Intake Air Temperature.

The first step, as shown in the guide, is to remove the battery cover. Then disconnect the negative battery cable.

To facilitate access, it is preferable to remove the battery housing by unfastening the clips and the battery support holes in two places. You can then proceed to remove the MAF/IAT sensor.

The installation of the new sensor will be done in reverse order to the procedure followed during the removal of the sensor.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started.
