In this brief guide, follow the main instructions to remove and replace the crankshaft position sensor of the Volkswagen Jetta 1.9 TDI, as well as the Golf and Bora. First, open the bonnet of your car and locate the crankshaft position sensor, which is near the oil filter; then disconnect its electrical connector by unscrewing the bolt to remove it, as shown in the video.

At this point, install the new crankshaft position sensor, ensuring it is the original replacement, applying the reverse procedure!
