Replacing Brake Caliper/Piston

First, remove the wheel. Now, at the rear of the brake, disconnect the cable that pulls the handbrake, using a screwdriver and pliers for assistance.

Next, undo the upper and lower bolts that secure the caliper. Disconnect the part where the piston is located using a spanner and replace it with the new part, tightening firmly with the spanner.

Refit the caliper in place and re-tighten the bolts as before. For the caliper, also reposition the cable using the screwdriver and pliers.

Align the bolt above the caliper and replace the wheel.

How to open the bonnet on a Volkswagen Golf?
