How to Change the Fuel Filter on a Volkswagen Golf

In this guide, you will learn how to change the fuel filter on your Golf. First, open the bonnet of your vehicle. The filter is located at the edge of the bonnet, preferably on the passenger side. Using pliers, disconnect the hoses attached to it and cover them with some cloth. Then, the filter will be easy to remove; just unscrew the screw that holds it in place. Pull it out, and it should come out without any difficulty. Take the new filter, position it as the old one was, screw in the securing screw, and then reconnect the hoses to their respective outlets. For a cleaner job, you might consider purchasing a new hose seal and replacing the old one with the new one.
