Operation: Replacing the diesel filter on Golf 4

Is the diesel filter to be replaced? We lift the front hood and check the diesel filter where it is stored. We open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. We remove the engine soundproofing panel to access the diesel filter. Unscrew the large locking pin of the container cap where the diesel filter is located, extract the same from its housing. We assemble the new diesel filter after having cleaned the whole base where the piece is screwed. We start the engine to fill the diesel filter.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
