Replacing the rear brake pads is quite straightforward, but there is a particularity: to retract the caliper piston, you must rotate it while pushing it in. There is a special tool for this procedure, but you can easily do it yourself using a C-clamp to press the piston while rotating it with needle-nose pliers or a tool used to lock the disc of a horizontal grinder, commonly known as a flex. It is advisable to work in pairs: while one holds the piston in tension, the other rotates it.
