To remove the headrest from the Volkswagen Tiguan, lower the trim surrounding the headrest support: beneath this trim, you will find a switch that must be pressed down to release the headrest. It can then be pulled out from the top by removing the brackets from inside the backrest; at this point, you can insert the new headrest into the supports.

You can then push it down and adjust its height according to your driving needs.
