In this video, you will see how to remove the 6.5" screen and install the larger 8" one on a Volkswagen Golf VII: Start by opening the drawer at the bottom of the central console, then press on the plastics around the climate control buttons, being careful not to break any clips; the most delicate part is the upper section as it fits under the radio part, which needs to be lifted so it can come out without issues.

Next, lift the entire frame around the radio and the vents (which will come out with the frame).

Then, simply remove the hazard light button and unscrew the radio screws. Disconnect the rear connectors, and then you can insert the new screen.
