Where is the starter motor located in the Volkswagen Jetta?

In this video we can see where the starter motor is located in the Volkswagen Jetta and how to proceed in case we need to replace it, a relatively simple operation. As shown, the starter motor is located at about half height on the left side of the engine, looking at the vehicle frontally. To access it, we will first need to open the hood, then remove the air filter box and detach the power steering fluid reservoir from its support. To remove the starter motor, it will be sufficient to unscrew the four bolts indicated using both a 13mm socket wrench and a 17mm socket wrench. Make sure to work with the negative terminal of the battery disconnected.
