In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the starter motor in the Volkswagen Jetta, a simple operation but one that requires good manual skills. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we open the hood and disconnect both the battery and the connector of the indicated sensor. We then unscrew the nuts of the power terminals with a 13mm socket wrench, unscrew the fixing bolts with an 18mm wrench, and separate the starter motor from the support. At this point, we can position the replacement and follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.
