How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Volkswagen Passat?

The procedure to reset the Service light of the Volkswagen Passat involves holding down the button located on the right side of the instrument panel while it is turned off. While continuing to hold it down, you can insert the ignition key and turn it to turn on the instrument panel. A confirmation message will appear, where you will need to select "OK" with the appropriate button on the right side of the steering wheel. At this point, you will notice that the Service light has disappeared from the instrument panel and it can then be turned off.
