How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014
Part: Service warning light

You can completely clear the Service light displayed on the Volkswagen Passat by holding down the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the instrument panel. While continuing to hold the button, insert the ignition key into the corresponding switch to activate the panel. Once it is on, you will see a confirmation message on the instrument panel display: this must be confirmed with the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel, noting that the Service light will be cleared.
