How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Service warning light

By holding down the button marked "0.0" located at the centre of the instrument cluster, you can clear the Service light that illuminates on the Volkswagen Passat. While holding the button, turn the key to activate the instrument cluster: a message will appear on the menu asking if you really want to confirm the reset of the Service light. To confirm, press the button again located at the centre of the instrument cluster. Once the reset is complete, you can turn off the instrument cluster to finish.
