To reset the service light on the Volkswagen Crafter, start by turning on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Press and hold the "o" button to the left of the rev counter until you hear a sound and numbers appear on the display; then press the "m" button to the left of the rev counter until the word "oil" appears.

Once this word appears, briefly press the "o" button to the left of the rev counter to display "reset done". After completing this procedure and seeing the "reset done" message, you can turn off the instrument panel.
