To reset the service light on the Volkswagen Touran, press and hold the 0.0 button located in the centre of the instrument panel. While holding this button, insert the ignition key into its slot and turn it to power on the instrument panel.

Once powered on, you will see a confirmation message on the display: confirm it by releasing the 0.0 button and pressing it again. This will completely reset the service light, and you can then turn off the instrument panel.
