Today we will see the step-by-step instructions to disassemble and replace the steering wheel and its airbag of the Volkswagen Golf, following these simple steps. First of all, we get on board the car and start pushing something thin and pointed into the rear holes of the steering wheel, removing the airbag; then we disconnect its electrical connector, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the central screw of the steering wheel to remove it, replacing it with the new one; we install it in a perfectly straight position and finally reassemble the airbag, applying the reverse process!
