Not sure how to remove the fuel flap on your Volkswagen Golf? Let’s see how to do it in this video. It’s a very simple operation. Open the fuel flap, unscrew the filler cap, and with a screwdriver, unscrew the locking clip. After unscrewing the pins, use both hands to grasp the flap's frame and pull it towards you. As you pull the flap frame away, leverage around it and remove it. The drain tube for residuals will come off with the frame. Refit the new fuel flap by reversing the process.
