To reset the infotainment system on the Volkswagen Passat, start by turning on the engine or just the display of the infotainment system. Go to the vehicle screen from the main menu of the infotainment system to enter the vehicle status where you can monitor vehicle parameters. To perform the reset, go to the bottom right where you will find the "settings" option to enter the settings menu. Once in the settings, scroll down to the last option "factory settings", confirm as required, and allow the infotainment system to perform a factory reset automatically. Finally, if prompted, enter the radio code found in the vehicle documents, then proceed with the initial setup.
