The following steps will show us how to disassemble and replace the rear brake pads of the Volkswagen Passat. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the rear wheels; then use a lever on the caliper piston to retract it, then unscrew the screws found on the back to remove it from the disc, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the old brake pads, clean the caliper from any residue; then install the new original brake pads, and finally reassemble the entire braking system!
