How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads on a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014

Lift the car on a column jack to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a telescopic spanner or air drill) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper: remove the caliper from the wheel hub and detach the pads from the caliper using a screwdriver. Fit the new pads onto the brake caliper and the support onto the brake disc, tighten all the bolts, and refit the wheel. Check the previously mounted parts.
