Replace Rear Brake Pads on Passat

Are the rear brake pads worn? Here’s how to replace them inside the brake caliper. Lift the car on a jack, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench or air drill) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the caliper locking bolt and remove the caliper from the wheel hub. Detach the pads from the caliper after removing it from above the brake disc. Fit the new pads inside the brake caliper. Reattach the brake caliper to the brake disc, tighten all bolts, and refit the wheel. Test the brakes after installation.
