How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads on a Volkswagen Passat?

To replace the rear brake pads on a Volkswagen Passat, lift the car using a jack or ramp so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the ground. Once elevated, unscrew the bolts securing the wheel, completely remove it, and access the components at the back. Detach the brake caliper from its disc by unscrewing the bolts that hold it in place, allowing you to slide out the pads inside. Once the pads are removed, insert the new ones and refit the corresponding wheel.
