Volkswagen Passat - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Passat MK 8, B8, 3G - Years 2014-2023
Part: Brake pads
Operation: How do you replace the rear brake pads on a Volkswagen Passat?

To be able to replace the rear brake pads on your Volkswagen Passat, you need to lift the car with a jack or a bridge so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the floor. Once it has therefore been lifted, it will be necessary to unscrew the screws that fix the wheel by removing it completely and accessing its components in the rear part. The brake caliper must be detached from its disc by unscrewing the screws that fix it, in order to be able to remove the pads inside. Once the pads have been removed, it will be possible to insert the new ones by mounting the corresponding wheel as well.

How to reset the service in the Opel Antara?

As we can see in this tutorial, resetting the service in the Opel Antara is an extremely simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, of course, we must have completed all the planned maintenance work. We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel, not the engine. At this point, we release the accelerator and press it 3 consecutive times, always all the way. We then restart the panel to verify that the procedure has been carried out correctly.
