If you have recently serviced your Volkswagen Jetta Mk5 but the warning light continues to appear on the dashboard, you need to manually reset the light. Here's how to do it. First, get into the car and with the ignition off, press and hold the "0.0" button located in the lower right corner of the dashboard.

At the same time, turn on the ignition and after a few seconds, release the "0.0" button. Finally, hold down the "min" button until the service light reset is complete, and press "0.0" once more to finish the procedure.
