Programming the new key of a Volkswagen vehicle is a fully achievable operation independently, thanks also to our short video tutorial that will illustrate the steps to be taken. The first step is to access the inside of the vehicle and insert the previous key into the ignition lock of the vehicle while pressing the opening buttons with the new key. Keeping the driver's side door open, insert the key into the lock and turn it as if you were trying to open the door while simultaneously pressing and holding down the vehicle's opening button. Remove the key and open the vehicle, then close it.
