Today, let's see how to replace the batteries in the remote of a Volvo S60, produced from 2010 to 2018. Start by extracting the physical emergency key from the remote. Insert a small screwdriver into the cavity where the key was located to pry off the back cover of the remote and remove it. Once the remote is open, you can easily take out the two dead batteries and replace them with two new ones, making sure to insert them in the correct orientation.

Finally, close the remote by reversing the procedure. The required batteries are CR2430 3V.
