Replacing the key fob battery of the Volvo S60 is a very simple and inexpensive operation. For this, you will need a small flathead screwdriver and two replacement CR2430 3V batteries. First, locate the slot along the bottom edge, then insert the screwdriver tip into it and, prying it open, separate the two halves of the key fob. Once fully opened, remove the first battery, lift the paper cover, and remove the second battery. Finally, insert both replacements, ensuring to respect their polarity.
