In this brief tutorial, see how to replace the battery (CR2430 3V) of the key fob for a second-generation Volvo S60. First, remove the physical key from the fob by pulling the designated release tab to extract it. Next, insert a small flathead screwdriver into the slot where the key was housed and carefully pry off the back cover of the fob. Once removed, take out the two old batteries and insert a new pair, placing the first with the positive terminal facing up and the second with the positive terminal facing down. Finally, close the fob to complete the job.
