Let's see how to do a reboot on a Volvo XC90, to solve problems such as AppleCarPlay or AndroidAuto not connecting, unresponsive touch screen, navigation or audio system not working properly, and overall slow system. We find the physical "home" button below the central screen: continue to hold it down for about thirty seconds, even if the screen does not seem to respond. When the screen displays the Volvo logo, we can release the button. For a complete restart, it will take about a minute. Once back to the main screen, we can reconnect the systems. If the problem persists, we will need to go back to factory settings: go to "settings/system/reset options/reset factory settings". Make sure the firmware is also up to date. A drastic solution is to disconnect the battery for about fifteen minutes.
