To reset the service light on a Volvo S60, get in the vehicle and insert the key into the ignition without starting the engine, turning the ignition to the "I" position. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button.

While holding it down, turn the ignition to the "II" position, continuing to hold the button. After a few seconds, the service symbol starts to flash: at this point, release the button.

Turn off the instrument cluster and turn it back on to verify that the light has been reset correctly. If the light remains active, repeat the procedure, holding the button until it starts to flash.
