Do you want to replace the lift supports for the trunk of the XC 90? This video will assist you with the operations. Open the vehicle's trunk, then using a screwdriver, detach the piston at both its lower joint (the one connecting it to the body) and the upper joint (the one connecting it to the trunk lid). Ensure the trunk lid does not fall on your head and support it with your free hand (or better, have someone assist you). At this point, remove the piston and insert a new clip on its lower part, then reattach it as it was previously positioned.
