Replacing a Front Headlamp Bulb

Model: Volvo S80 - Years 1998-2006

This operation requires no tools as it is a simple task easily performed by anyone. Open the bonnet and locate the back of the headlamp. Gently remove the protective cover, taking care with the cables, then remove the retaining springs to access the bulbs. Once the cover is off, remove the bulb holder of the faulty bulb by releasing the retaining springs and taking it out. Carefully insert the new bulb, paying attention to the alignment notches and avoiding touching the glass bulb with your hands; if you do, clean the glass with a cloth dampened with alcohol. Ensure the protective cover is properly closed and reassemble the headlamp.
