Replacing Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volvo Xc70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Cabin air filter

Frequently replacing the pollen filter helps prevent allergies as it purifies the air in the cabin. The filter is located under the trim at the passenger side footwell. To access it, carefully remove several electrical components. Finally, remove the cover located at the side of the tunnel, then take off the lid, which can be done by hand. Once the filter cover is removed, take out the cartridge from its housing by pulling it out carefully to avoid dust dispersal. Obtain a pollen filter of the same model identical to the original. Clean the housing area of any dirt. Reinsert the new cartridge into the container, ensuring correct orientation, and reassemble the removed components.
