Muffler Replacement Instructions

Model: Volvo S60 MK 1 - Years 2000-2009
Part: Exhaust muffler

Perform this repair with the vehicle cold. Lift the car on a hydraulic lift and remove the muffler starting from the flange located after the exhaust manifold to the rear. Proceed with the installation of the adapter flange by inserting the gasket. Then insert the clamp and the first muffler; apply the support bushings to the oval pipe and attach it with the corresponding clamp to the muffler, securing the bushing supports to the frame. Finally, install the tailpipe muffler and tighten all the mounting bolts and those of the clamps. Complete by inserting the dual exhaust pipes.
