Replacement of Wishbone Bushes

The deterioration of the rubber bushes in the wishbone suspension (commonly referred to as silent blocks) is a fairly common fault, especially in heavier vehicles, as they serve to dampen the shocks and vibrations to which the car is constantly subjected. To carry out this repair, you can adopt two strategies: either replace the entire wishbone complete with bushes or limit yourself to just replacing the bushes; in any case, it is necessary to remove the wishbone from the suspension by freeing the ball joint from the hub support and the other two ends from the vehicle's chassis; once the wishbone is secured in a vice, remove the old bush, even cutting it if necessary, and apply the new one complete with a retaining ring. Then proceed in reverse for installation back onto the vehicle.
